Hyperdelivery Systems announces that is has received patent protection in the Unites States for its large caliber rifle muzzle brake under US Pat. No. 7143680.

The patented hyperTAME™ muzzle brake (or recoil brake) was designed specifically for large caliber rifles like the 50 caliber BMG and 50 DTC Euro. However, it can be easily scaled up or down to suit any caliber, large or small, where recoil diminishes comfort, accuracy, or the speed of target reacquisition.

The advanced technology recoil brake employs a multi-ported, multi-chambered system that does two things well instead of only one. First, it attenuates recoil shock and secondly, it breaks up the coherence of the exhausting propellant pressure wave to reduce discomfort at the shooter and spotter positions while also reducing the amount of debris kicked up from the ground. It does all this in a small form factor.

Hyperdelivery Systems will publish quantitative performance test data for the hyperTAME™ recoil brake in side-by-side comparisons with other popular brakes in live-fire conditions using the 50 cal. BMG round. The side-by-side comparisons will augment the results obtained by other researchers.

The hyperTAME™ muzzle brake will be standard equipment on Hyperdelivery Systems' line of firearms in addition to being sold separately as an after-market enhancement to popular rifles sold by other manufacturers.
